Susan recently left her role as Vice President for the Michigan Health Council (MHC) to pursue an independent consulting business. In her previous role at MHC she helped to identify, develop, and implement organizational planning for the Health Council and its related programs. Prior to working for the MHC she worked as an in-house physician recruiter for St. Lawrence Hospital and Sparrow Health System in Lansing. Susan is a native of North Branch, Michigan, located in the "thumb" region of the state. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1989 with a BA in Political Science, and went on to earn a JD from Cooley Law School in Lansing. Aside from work, Susan enjoys camping with her husband Mark, and children Mikayla and Max. She is actively involved in her church and on the Boards for the Greater Lansing Food Bank and the Haven House, a local homeless shelter.

Kathy is currently the Director of Physician Recruitment for Michigan Medical, PC (mmpc) a privately owned multi-specialty group of 200+ physicians in West Michigan. Kathy has been with mmpc for over 6 years and oversees all aspects of physician recruitment which includes approximately 20+ recruits a year. Prior to working at mmpc, she worked for Saint Mary's Health Services in Physician Recruitment and Human Resources. Kathy received a BS in Business from Ferris State University. Outside of work, Kathy enjoys spending time with her busy family and all their sporting events, and when time allows she enjoys exercising and spending time at the gym.

Cari has been working for St. Joseph Health System in Tawas City since 2000. She has 20 years experience in healthcare, particularly in allied health/nursing recruitment with a strong HR background. In 2004, she took on physician recruiting in addition to her HR responsibilities. In 2005, she was instrumental in establishing a full time physician recruitment department. She enjoys working out, boating and travel. Cari has been a MRRN member since 2004 and currently serves on the Conference Planning Committee.

Carol is currently the Physician Recruitment Specialist at St. John Health in southeast Michigan, and has been with the system since 2001. She has worked in health care since 1979, and has spent the last 7 years in physician recruitment. She completed her Bachelors degree at Mercy College of Detroit and her Masters degree in General Administration from Central Michigan University. Carol is a member of ASPR and ASPR - Education Committee. She enjoys spending time with her husband John, entertaining family and friends, and traveling.
